Principal's Message

We are off to a good start for the 2019/20 academic year!

It is my pleasure and privilege to serve as the new principal of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Academy.  I am committed to educating our children to be effective nation builders whose decisions and actions will be anchored in their Catholic faith. Serving as the principal in an academic, entrepreneurial, and spiritual capacity is a dream come true.  I prayed for the opportunity to be the leader of a school with a rich, diverse culture.

I bring to this vocation, previously held education positions as a catechist, teacher, and principal as well as a background in diversity marketing, media planning and advertising sales; expertise and experience which will enable me to serve this community effectively.  My overall goal is to build on our 107-year history of successes - - academically, emotionally, and financially and I intend to continue our tradition of preparing our students for success and fulfillment during their years here and beyond.

Lawrence Cooke, Principal

We L.O.V.E. -Living Our Values Everyday.

I am here for the students, parents, and the faculty/staff.  I am open to hearing recommendations that may contribute to creating and sustaining an excellent learning environment for our children.
