Art Exhibition by Voltaire Charles-Marc

About Artist

Voltaire Charles-Marc, Artist and Parent. His studio is Ateliers V. Charles-Marc. Before becoming a full-time artist, Mr. Marc-Charles studied Computer Engineering at Miami Dade College.  He was always a creative person and is inspired by music and dance.

I am very excited to be a part of this year's Black History Month celebration at St Gregory The Great Catholic Academy and share my work with students and parents.

The response of the students has been wonderful. They reacted with great enthusiasm and it has been gratifying to see them discussing the paintings with each other and with me.

The paintings that I chose to display feature icons of the Black Experience as well as portraits of other heroic figures such as Albert Einstein, Mother Teresa and L'Abbe Pierre.  I believe it is important for our children to know our history, our suffering and triumphs.
